Estrayer Park Farmhouse

Estrayer Park Farmhouse sits in open Devon countryside a couple of miles from Okehampton, with Dartmoor reachable by car in a matter of minutes. The former family home sleeps up to 13 across six bedrooms: two en-suite king-size rooms, three twin rooms and one triple room made up with a double and a single bed. A further bathroom with bath and shower serves the remaining bedrooms, alongside a separate ground-floor shower room with WC.

Two lounges give guests room to spread out, one with a wood burner and Smart TV, the other with a second wood burner, a piano and games. The first basket of logs is included between 1 October and 1 April. The dining room seats up to 13 at a single table, with an inglenook fireplace and bread oven as a backdrop. The kitchen is fitted with a double electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and a separate utility area holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, with space for muddy boots after a day on the moor.

Outside, lawned gardens wrap around the front and side of the house, enclosed and large enough for football or cricket, with an outdoor dining area for meals with a view towards Dartmoor. A games barn on site has a pool table, table tennis and storage for bikes, and there is a small stream at the end of the garden. A barbecue is provided for outdoor cooking.

Off-road parking is provided on site, and the property has internet access. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Families can request a travel cot and highchair in advance. Okehampton itself has shops, pubs and a train station with direct links to Exeter, while an Italian restaurant and bar sits around half a mile from the property.
