East Mill Barn

East Mill Barn sleeps six across three bedrooms on a working farm at Bish Mill, near South Molton in North Devon. The two king-size rooms and a twin share three bathrooms, one an en-suite and the other two each offering a bath and a walk-in shower. Towels are included. The open-plan kitchen and diner is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer and coffee machine, so full self-catering for the group is straightforward throughout a stay.

Glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows run along the first floor, opening onto a glass-fronted balcony that spans nearly the full length of the barn. The lounge has a Juliette balcony, a wood burner with a first basket of logs supplied, and a Smart TV. A separate snug and games room provides a 12-in-1 games table, a Nintendo Wii with games, board games and books, and a swing ball set is available in the garden for outdoor play.

Beneath the balcony sits a private, partially covered patio with outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ. One dog is welcome, though additional charges may apply; a lead is required anywhere beyond the enclosed garden because the property sits within gated working farm land. Ample private parking is on site. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

South Molton, with a twice-weekly market, independent shops and several pubs and cafes, is roughly 2 miles away. The nearest beach is around 20 miles, and Exmoor National Park is within 6 miles for hiking and riding.
