Coach House at The Linhay

Coach House at The Linhay is a stone barn conversion on a working farm near Kilmington, sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are upstairs: a double room beneath slanted, beamed ceilings and a twin bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC. A shower room off the kitchen on the ground floor provides a walk-in shower and WC, handy for guests returning muddy from the lanes or fields.

The open-plan ground floor centres on a large sofa and Smart TV, with a dining table alongside and a well-equipped kitchen up a single step. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs, a snug landing area with a second TV and bean bag seating gives younger guests their own space when the weather closes in. A highchair is available for families with small children.

Outside, a private enclosed deck gives dogs a safe space off the lead, as they must remain on leads everywhere else around the property. A large BBQ to the side suits al fresco meals with far-reaching countryside views. Private parking for two cars is provided on site. The property runs on a private water supply rather than a mains connection, worth noting before you arrive.

Axminster is around 3.5 miles away for a weekly market and independent shops, and Lyme Regis is approximately 8 miles for the coast. Access to the working farm itself is restricted, though the owner can arrange a meet and greet with the horses on request. Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges that may apply.
