Brywill House

Brywill House is a four-bedroom Victorian property in Ilfracombe sleeping up to eight guests, with independent shops and eateries just 300 metres away and on-street parking. The house carries the character of its era throughout: original hallway tiles, elaborate ceiling coving and a bay-windowed living room furnished in an art deco style around a 65-inch Smart TV with soundbar and Netflix, blackout curtains included for film nights.

The dining room seats eight and connects to a snug for additional relaxation. The kitchen has modern gloss units, a patterned tiled floor, an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, air fryer and microwave, plus a four-seater table for informal meals. A utility room off the ground floor houses the washing machine and a separate WC.

Both first-floor bedrooms have feature fireplaces; the king-size room adds white floorboards, contrasting feature walls and a window bench in the bay. The first-floor bathroom offers a roll-top bath, a separate shower cubicle and a WC, with a second shower room with WC on the same landing. Each of the two second-floor twin rooms has its own fireplace, vaulted ceiling and wooden floorboards.

Outside, a small walled and decked area with seating and a BBQ is accessible directly from the house, while the walled garden is reached via the side entrance, where a pergola, greenery and an outside tap await after coastal walks. A travel cot, highchair and three stairgates are available on request. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
