Borough Valley Cottage

This cottage sits on a working beef and sheep farm with direct access to countryside walks from the front door. A forty-minute woodland route leads to Lee Bay, a small village with sandy beach, rocky cove and a pub serving local ales, organic wine and Devonshire cream teas. Woolacombe beach lies two miles away, with Croyde and Saunton Sands also within reach. The South West Coast Path runs just over a mile from the property, and the Tarka Trail for cycling passes directly through the farm.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner forms the ground floor, with comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV and DVD player. A dining table for four sits in the window overlooking farmland. The kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and Dulce Gusto coffee machine. Steep cottage-style stairs climb to the first floor bedrooms and shower room.

The first bedroom features a super-king size zip and link bed, available as a twin on request. The second is a bunk bedroom. The shower room offers a shower and WC. Outside, a lawned enclosed garden provides seating and BBQ facilities, with views across to the bay and South Wales on clear days.

Off-road parking accommodates two cars directly outside. One dog is welcome (additional charges may apply). Highchair available. Arrival from 16:00, departure by 10:00.
