Birds Nest

This barn conversion sits on a family-run working farm near Bondleigh, close to Winkleigh, and sleeps five across three upstairs bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms, one with its own en-suite shower room and WC, plus a single room that can take an additional single bed on request. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC serves the remaining bedrooms, and there is a separate WC downstairs.

The open-plan living space downstairs combines a kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, American-style fridge/freezer and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine (pods not included). The lounge has a Smart TV and a wood burner, with a first basket of logs supplied and further logs available to buy from the owner. A second Smart TV is fitted in the main double bedroom.

Outside, a large enclosed patio area has garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, opening directly off the kitchen for easy outdoor dining. Children are catered for with a playhouse stocked with games and activities, and guests can arrange with the owner to help feed the farm animals during their stay. Ample off-road parking is available on site, along with an electric vehicle charging point.

This property can be booked together with Butterfly Rest cottage for larger groups. A travel cot and highchair are provided, and the property has a private water supply. No dogs are permitted. Arrival is from 3pm and departure by 10am.
