Barwood View

Barwood View is a first-floor duplex apartment within a period property dating from the 1850s, in a prominent position on the South Devon coastline near Torquay, with Torquay seafront 0.7 miles away. The apartment sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, reached up an initial flight of stairs from a pebbled courtyard.

The first floor holds the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, a bathroom with a bath and shower over, and a king-size bedroom with ample storage. A private balcony off the living space has far-reaching sea views, a good spot for morning coffee. Up a second, steeper stairwell with limited headroom is a second-floor room with two single beds.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and a separate freezer, plus a washing machine, and the sitting area has a TV, sofa and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent, and off-road parking is provided for two cars.

The property description recommends it for two adults and one child, or two small children, and it does not accept children under 7. Arrivals and departures are Saturdays only, and no pets are allowed. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.2 miles.
