Barn Shelley Lodge

Barn Shelley Lodge is a single-storey wooden lodge set in the owners' grounds at Copplestone, close to Crediton, with views of green meadows from every window. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has wide patio doors onto a decked veranda, a sheltered spot for meals outside.

A super king-size double with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC can be set up as a twin on request, and a second double bedroom has its own bathroom across the hallway, so the lodge sleeps 4. A woodburner heats the sitting area on cooler evenings.

The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and an air fryer, plus a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher in the utility room. Oil central heating, fuel and a woodburner starter pack are included in the rent, and there's WiFi throughout.

The lodge stands in its own enclosed lawned garden with off-road parking for 2 cars. A travel cot, high chair, wooden bed guard and fireguard are available on request.

No pets are allowed and the lodge is no smoking throughout. Copplestone's shop and pub are a short distance away, and the village sits on the Tarka Line railway between Exeter and Barnstaple.
