Apple Tree Cottage sits within a small complex of four properties on a working farm near Beaworthy, accommodating up to nine guests across four bedrooms. Two doubles, a twin, and a triple room with a super-king zip-and-link bed (convertible to two singles on request) plus a single bed give the layout real flexibility for mixed groups and family gatherings. One double upstairs has an en-suite shower room and lake views; a second double and a family bathroom with bath and handheld shower sit alongside it on the first floor. A further bathroom with bath and handheld shower is on the ground floor, next to the twin bedroom.

Original beams run across the ceilings, and a wood burner with a first basket of logs included anchors the sitting room for evenings in. The farmhouse kitchen and dining area centres on a long pine table with a full suite of appliances: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, and a Nespresso machine. The ground-floor twin bedroom and bathroom make the layout practical for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, though note a shallow step leads from the lounge through the French doors into the garden.

The enclosed garden includes a lawn, patio with outdoor dining furniture, a gas BBQ, and a trampoline. A private hot tub can be hired for an additional charge (three nights £290, five nights £310, seven nights £330), arranged with the owner before arrival. Ample on-site parking is provided. The farm's 40-acre estate includes a lake, a five-acre woodland, and an animal barn where children can collect eggs and meet donkeys, rabbits, and guinea pigs.

Shared facilities across the complex are genuinely broad: a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna bookable through a guest app with a guaranteed two-hour daily slot (bring your own towels), a gym, and a games room with table tennis, pool table, air hockey, darts, and table football. An outdoor playground and indoor soft-play area are also shared. Dogs are not accepted, and children must be supervised near the lake and stream. A pub and shops are three miles away.
