2 Freeland Cottages

2 Freeland Cottages is a thatched cottage in the hamlet of Manaton, inside Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps 5 across three bedrooms, with slate floors in the kitchen/diner and exposed stonework and wooden beams in the sitting room.

The king-size and double bedrooms each have a basin, and the single bedroom has a basin and WC. A ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower serves as well as the main bathroom, which has a bath and a hand-held shower upstairs. The sitting room is built around a woodburning stove, with wood and fuel included in the rent, and the kitchen/diner has an electric oven and ceramic hob.

Roadside parking is provided for 2 cars, and the enclosed garden has a lawn, a patio, a barbecue and furniture. As the cottage has a thatched roof, it's a completely smoking-free property, and vapes, candles, fireworks, e-bikes, e-scooters, EV charging and deep fat fryers are all prohibited. It's also not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, kept downstairs and off the furniture, and never left unattended in the property. A highchair and travel cot are included in the rent. The shop is 4.4 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles. The cottage accepts Monday or Friday changeovers, and check-in cannot be accommodated on bank holidays.
