1 Eastdon Cottages stands in the village of Eastdon, close to Starcross and around a mile from Dawlish Warren. A woodburning stove warms the living and dining room, and a first-floor sitting room gives a quieter spot to unwind, while a games room with table football and a TV keeps everyone else entertained.

The house sleeps 10 across five bedrooms, including one on the ground floor, all fitted as super-king, king or twin with zip/link flexibility. Two bedrooms have their own en-suite shower room (one on the ground floor, one upstairs), and two of the upstairs bedrooms have a Juliet balcony looking over the estuary, one of which is also the en-suite room. The remaining bedrooms share a family bathroom and a separate ground-floor shower room, for four bathrooms in total.

The kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer and a further fridge, alongside a washing machine and dishwasher. The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, a small patio, furniture, a barbecue and a covered pond, and balconies elsewhere in the house give a spot for a coffee looking across the estuary. Low ceilings and doorways run throughout the house, worth planning around for taller guests or young children near the pond.

Parking is off-road, including a space under the car port. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not permitted. The property does not accept short breaks between April and October. A shop and pub are around 0.7 miles away, with the beach roughly 1.2 miles.
