The English Riviera Airshow returns from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June 2027, bringing three days of spectacular aviation displays and on-the-ground entertainment to Paignton Green. The event has wowed spectators annually since 2016 and is the first in the UK’s airshow calendar each year.
The airshow is free to attend and funded by various partners including Torbay Council, English Riviera BID Company, corporate sponsors and individual donors. It brings significant benefits to local businesses and showcases the English Riviera to thousands of visitors across the three days.

Getting there: Paignton is well-served by road and rail. Parking can be limited near the seafront during the airshow - consider using park-and-ride, arriving by train or parking further from the seafront and walking.
Accessibility: The seafront viewing areas are accessible, with designated areas for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
What to see
The airshow fills the skies with wonder, featuring front-line military jets, formation display teams and civilian aircraft. Previous years have seen displays from the Red Arrows, Typhoon, Spitfire, Hurricane and various other historic and modern aircraft. The full 2027 line-up will be announced in March 2027.
On-the-ground entertainment includes live music, food and drink stalls, fairground rides and children’s activities on Paignton Green throughout the three days. The combination of aerial displays and seafront festival atmosphere makes this a popular family day out.
The English Riviera provides a spectacular backdrop for the displays, with Torbay’s sweeping coastline offering excellent viewing opportunities from Paignton Green, the promenade and nearby vantage points.
