Byeways

Byeways is a detached, single-storey bungalow in the village of Whitford, a rural spot of stone cottages and thatched buildings near Shute. It sleeps four across a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both on the ground floor and served by one family bathroom with a bath and a shower over it, along with a basin and WC.

A sitting room with a selection of sofas leads through to the kitchen and an adjoining dining room, with the kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and a washing machine. A Smart TV, CD player, radio and WiFi cover evenings in, and electric heating with an electric fire keeps the bungalow warm year round, with fuel and power included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

Outside, the rear garden runs across three levels with a terrace patio, shrubs, furniture and an extensive lawn area suited to al fresco dining, though younger children should be supervised there. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars on the property.

Up to two dogs are accepted, and the surrounding farmland offers plenty of countryside walks. The nearest shop is 1.1 miles away and the nearest pub 0.7 miles, and smoking is not permitted inside the bungalow.
