Willow Tree Cottage At Holme Farm

Willow Tree Cottage stands within the owners' grounds near Bradford, close to Holsworthy in North Devon. This conversion suits two guests and takes in countryside views from its windows and balcony. Four traditional Devon pubs lie within four miles, with village shops in Shebbear and Sheepwash 2.5 miles away, and the National Trust's Dunsland Park is a mile from the cottage. On site, Shetland ponies, sheep, chickens and ducks share the grounds, while cycle route number 3 passes nearby, connecting to the Ruby Way, Granite Way and Tarka Trail.

The ground floor is arranged as an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with French doors opening onto a composite decked balcony. The kitchen is fitted with a gas oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, fridge with freezer section, dishwasher and washing machine, and a dining table with island unit provides space for meals. A sofa with sofa bed sits in the lounge alongside a Smart TV, and a bathroom with shower and WC completes this floor.

Upstairs, the king-size bedroom sits within the eaves, lit by Velux windows and fitted with its own Smart TV and a small en-suite WC. Restricted head height applies in parts of this room, worth noting for taller guests.

Outside, the enclosed decked balcony offers garden furniture, an outside tap and a hose for washing off boots after country walks. Parking is provided for one car, and internet access is available throughout. Dogs are not permitted at this property. The nearest beach lies 16 miles away, with Bude and its sandy coastline around 15 miles distant. Arrival is from 15:30, with departure required before 10:00, and the cottage is decorated for Christmas during the festive season.
