Vine Cottage

Vine Cottage is a 300-year-old Grade II listed thatched cottage in East Prawle, third in a row of four, with a small forecourt shared with the neighbouring cottage. A cosy beamed sitting room has a storage heater and an electric 'wood burning' style stove, plus a limited sea view.

The front bedroom has a double bed and shares that partial sea view, while the back bedroom looks over the garden and has a single bed with a trundle, useful for a third guest. Both bedrooms run on storage heaters, and a newly refurbished ground-floor bathroom has a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The fitted kitchen has a large dining table and a stable-style backdoor onto a small paved area, with several steps up to an L-shaped, enclosed rear garden with a lawn and a picnic bench. The staircase inside is steep with a step on the landing, worth noting for anyone unsteady on stairs, and camping chairs and picnic things are provided for outdoor use.

One well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and there is a pub, seasonal shop and cafe in the village. Smoking, vaping, barbecues and any naked flame are not permitted anywhere on the property.
