View The Gallery

View The Gallery is a detached, all-ground-floor cottage in the countryside about 4 miles from the shops and pubs of Okehampton, with views across meadows towards Dartmoor. It sleeps 2 in a super king-size bedroom that can be made up as two twins on request, and the building previously served as an art gallery.

The bathroom has a bath, shower, basin and WC, and the open-plan living area combines a kitchen, dining space and sitting area with a woodburning stove, plus a double sofa bed available on request. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, an air fryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and two Smart TVs with Freeview and DVD are provided, along with WiFi. A cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, the enclosed front and side lawned garden has a patio, fire pit and furniture, with dog-friendly secure fencing, and there's a barbecue for evenings in. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and the cottage is no smoking throughout. The nearest pubs and shops are about 4 miles away, and Okehampton itself has a heritage railway and the Granite Way cycle track, where bikes can be hired locally for exploring the surrounding countryside.
