Ridge's Retreat (No 7 Kigbeare Lodges)

Ridge's Retreat is a single-storey lodge on the Ashbury Resort at Fowley Cross, elevated above Ashbury Golf Course with views over the surrounding hills, near Southcott and the town of Okehampton. Off-road parking is provided for up to six cars.

The lodge sleeps 6 across three ground-floor bedrooms: a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms with extra-thick mattress toppers, which share a family bathroom with bath and shower over, plus a separate cloakroom.

A wrap-around, decked terrace leads into the open-plan living space, with a contemporary kitchen, dining area and a sitting area built around an electric fire and Smart TV. Gas central heating, WiFi and a dishwasher are all provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The lodge sits within the grounds of the Manor and Ashbury Hotels, where guests can buy a discounted pass for country club access, including six golf courses, indoor swimming pools, tennis, archery and spa facilities, subject to availability. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be bought at the on-site restaurant. No pets are allowed on the resort, smoking is not permitted, and the property does not accept stag, hen or similar parties. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out from 10am.
