Great Mis Tor

Great Mis Tor is a single-storey caravan in Langstone Manor Holiday Park, close to Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps 4 across a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, with a shower room fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting room, where a sofa bed sits alongside an electric fire, TV and DVD player. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, and central heating is included with fuel and power in the rent. Bed linen is included too, though guests need to bring their own towels.

Outside there's a furnished patio and off-road parking for one car. WiFi is available, though it's charged per device per week on top of the rent, so it's worth confirming before you rely on it. The holiday park itself has an on-site restaurant, bar, shop and children's playground, and fresh baguettes, croissants and pains au chocolat can be ordered for next-day delivery.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and owners are asked not to leave them unattended in the property. Smoking is not permitted, and the park doesn't take bookings from workers or contractors. The nearest shop is 3.3 miles away and the nearest pub 2.4 miles, with Tavistock itself a short drive further on.
