Tillislow Barton Farmhouse

Tillislow Barton Farmhouse sits on a traditional 350-acre Devon farm outside Virginstow, sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Two rooms have super-king zip-and-link beds convertible to twins on request, a third is a king-size zip-and-link also available as a twin, and the fourth is a fixed king-size. Three bathrooms serve the house: a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC, an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom, and a downstairs shower room.

The kitchen and dining room are fitted in a traditional farmhouse style and equipped with an electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The main lounge has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Across the hallway, a separate snug contains a wood burner with the first basket of logs provided and further logs available to purchase from the owner, plus a TV and DVD player for quieter evenings.

Upstairs, a children's games room offers table football, a TV for gaming (guests must bring their own console and leads) and a selection of board games. Two enclosed gardens wrap around the front and rear of the property: the front has an outdoor dining table and chairs for al fresco meals, and the rear has seating, a fire pit and a large lawn. Outdoor table tennis is also available, and an outdoor tap handles muddy boots and paws. Up to three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Parking for four cars is available off road. The property runs on Starlink internet with download speeds up to 20 Mbps. A shop and pub are roughly three miles away. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged on request. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
