The Vale

The Vale is a detached farmhouse on a working farm in Ashwater, set in West Devon's countryside with a stream running close by. The farmhouse sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, with off-road parking for 3 cars and a conservatory at the entrance.

Downstairs holds a kitchen, utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a dining room, and a sitting room with an electric fire, plus an original farmhouse doorbell that still rings at the front door. A ground-floor king-size bedroom has its own ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Upstairs are two further double bedrooms and a twin room with its own TV. A family bathroom has a bath, shower over the bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a second shower room has a walk-in shower and basin.

The kitchen has an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a Smart TV with Sky sits in the sitting room alongside WiFi throughout. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a highchair is provided on request. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden and patio has a barbecue. The Vale takes two well-behaved pets and is strictly no smoking. The shop is 1.1 miles away and the pub 1.3 miles, and the property does not accept worker or tradesman bookings.
