The Old Kennels

The Old Kennels is a single-storey cottage in Harcombe, around 0.9 miles from Sidford in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Original beams and stylish furnishings run through the property, and it sits in a tranquil, panoramic setting that suits a group of four or a couple after a quiet retreat, with one well-behaved dog also welcome.

Inside, the two bedrooms, a super king-size and a twin, share a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The kitchen and the open living/dining room are fitted with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, with a TV and WiFi for evenings in. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, the garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and a private hot tub, making the most of the rural setting. The property is not suitable for children, which suits it better to couples or groups of adults after a peaceful break.

A private driveway provides parking, and the shop is 0.8 miles away with the pub 0.5 miles. Smoking isn't permitted. The wider Boswell Farm site also has a tennis court, table tennis, a fishing lake and a laundry room for guests to use.
