The Nest

Perched on a hilltop above Woolacombe, this wooden annexe with a planted rooftop is designed exclusively for two adults. Reached by climbing steps up from the drive level, it sits in a secluded spot with sea views across the bay and on-street parking for one car.

Inside, smart design and underfloor heating make the most of a compact footprint. A wood burner with a first basket of logs included warms the open-plan living space, and large bi-fold doors open directly onto the patio. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge and microwave, alongside a dining table for meals in. A reading nook by the window makes good use of the sea outlook, and the king-size bedroom has ample storage. A large shower room with WC completes the layout.

The enclosed garden combines a paved patio with outdoor furniture, a sloping lawn and wildflower planting, plus a raised deck reached via further steps. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, though the stepped access throughout is worth considering for visits with very young children. No dogs are permitted, and guests should bring their own beach towels.

Woolacombe Beach is 500 metres down the coastal trail, with independent shops, eateries and a pub close at hand. The annexe can also be booked alongside a neighbouring property sleeping up to ten guests, making it a practical choice for larger groups wanting separate spaces.
