The Loft Cottage

The Loft Cottage is tucked just off the historic Narrows in the centre of Totnes, reached down an alley leading to the front door. It is a one-bedroom property set over two floors, with a garage for storing bikes or paddleboards rather than a car.

The ground floor holds the entrance hallway and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over. Upstairs, a first-floor studio-style space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting area with a curtain-divided double bed at one end, and patio doors open onto a Juliette balcony overlooking the street below.

The kitchen is fitted with a gas oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a washing machine, and a Smart TV and WiFi cover the living space. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a sofa bed can be made available on request, though it does not raise the property's occupancy. The mezzanine level is not available for guest use.

The Loft Cottage sleeps 2, with maximum occupancy set at two guests. The shop and pub are both around 0.1 miles away, making it an easy base for exploring the market town's shops, tea rooms and weekly market on foot. Pets are not accepted and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, inside or out.
