Swallows Reach

Swallows Reach is a converted barn on a 300-acre working farm in Halwell, set over three floors. It sleeps 10 across four en-suite bedrooms, two family rooms and two king-size rooms.

The ground-floor open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area built around a woodburning stove, with a dining table seating ten. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Guests also have access to a further shared games room. Each bedroom has its own TV and en-suite bathroom, and a lower-ground-floor cloakroom completes the layout.

Off-road parking is provided for 6 cars. The private patio has furniture and a barbecue with countryside views over Torbay, and guests also share a garden with a lawn, a children's play area of swings, slides and a climbing frame, a trampoline, a toddlers' splash pool and an indoor swimming pool measuring 39 by 19 feet, open from 8am to 8pm and occasionally shared with the owners' family and friends. A cot and a highchair are available on request.

Three well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted, and bookings from Easter to early September, including short breaks, must start on a Friday or a Monday. The shop is 1.7 miles away and the pub 1.4 miles.
