Stone Barn

Stone Barn is a five-bedroom barn conversion near Clawton, reached along an unmade road for about half a mile, best suited to 4WD or higher vehicles. The house sleeps 10: a king-size bedroom and two twin rooms are on the ground floor, sharing a bathroom with a roll-top bath and a separate shower room, while two further king-size bedrooms with vaulted, A-framed ceilings sit upstairs, each with its own en-suite shower room.

The kitchen/diner has a double-sided woodburning stove shared with the sitting room, bespoke cabinetry, an electric range oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. A ground source heat pump with underfloor heating covers the ground floor, and fuel, power, bed linen, towels and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are all included in the rent. Two steps separate the kitchen/diner from the sitting room.

Outside, a side garden has a lawn, patio and furniture, with ample off-road parking. Stone Barn welcomes dogs (confirm how many when booking), and does not allow stag, hen or similar parties. Bookings are limited to two weeks.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property at any time. The nearest shop is 2.3 miles away, the pub is 3.6 miles, and the River Claw is about 2 miles.
