Horslett Barn

Horslett Barn sits near Clawton, close to the Devon and Cornwall border and within easy reach of both the A30 and A39. The barn sleeps ten across five en-suite bedrooms: three king-size rooms and two twins, one of which can be made up as a super-king on request. Two bedrooms sit three steps below the main ground-floor level; the twin at this lower level has an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, while the king-size at the same level has an en-suite shower room and French doors leading directly to the garden. Parking for four cars is provided on the private drive, and an EV charger is available on site at an extra charge of £60 payable directly to the owners.

The ground floor centres on a large open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with a vaulted ceiling, wood burner with logs included, and French doors to the patio. The kitchen is well equipped with two electric ovens, an electric hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee pod machine and wine cooler. A separate cinema and games room features a projector with Smart TV, Netflix, beanbags and a full-size pool table. A utility room off the hallway houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge, alongside an extra ground-floor WC.

To the rear, a large enclosed garden has a generous patio furnished with a nine-seater outdoor sofa set, a gas BBQ and a private six-person Jacuzzi hot tub. A climbing frame with swing and slide occupies part of the lawn, and an outdoor shower tap is handy for rinsing wetsuits or muddy paws. Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome. Wi-Fi is included throughout, and all five bedrooms plus the main lounge have Smart TVs.

The nearest pub and shop are around five miles away and the beach is approximately twelve miles. The North Cornwall coast, including Bude and Widemouth Bay, is reachable without a long drive, and Dartmoor lies to the south for walkers wanting open moorland. A separate five-guest property, Horslett Stable, is available on site and can be booked alongside this barn for larger groups.
