Silver Crooks

Silver Crooks stands in the hamlet of Trewyn, on the edge of open countryside a few miles from Holsworthy. The detached house sleeps 6 across three bedrooms, with views over the surrounding fields from the two upstairs doubles and the twin. Two bathrooms serve the house, one upstairs with a bath and separate shower, the other on the ground floor with a shower cubicle.

Downstairs holds a sitting room with an open fire, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with a pantry and utility room. The kitchen runs on a Rayburn alongside a conventional electric oven and hob, with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Oil central heating and the open fire cover the colder months, and fuel and power are included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, a decked garden has furniture and a barbecue, though it isn't enclosed and there's a pond in it, so it needs watching with young children. A six-berth Jacuzzi hot tub sits in the garden for evening use, and guests can exercise their dog in the adjacent fields when no farm work is under way.

Silver Crooks takes one well-behaved dog, with a second by arrangement. Off-road parking is provided for up to 4 cars, and the shop and pub are around a mile away. Smoking isn't permitted inside.
