Seashore

Seashore occupies the first floor of Hartland House Apartments, directly across the road from Woolacombe's beach. The open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area has a corner sofa bed, and the twin-capable double bedroom has a TV, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower over, and the whole apartment sits on one floor.

The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and hob, and the dining area seats up to four. Seashore has use of a communal garden and patio, for residents only, with sun loungers, relaxer chairs and a large dining table with eight chairs, plus a small storage hut for beach gear.

Parking is provided for one car in a designated space on a sloped drive, so it is worth planning for if you are not used to parking on an incline. The shop and pub are around 0.2 miles away, and the South West Coast Path runs at the doorstep. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent, along with a highchair and travel cot.

Seashore does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. The apartment is well placed for the wider North Devon coast, with Ilfracombe and Braunton both a short drive away, and the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon makes a good rainy-day option.
