Rosa

Rosa is a first-floor annex in Torquay, reached up stairs and a step to its own front door, part way up one of the town's hills. It sleeps 2 in a single bedroom, and the harbour and restaurants are a short walk downhill.

The double bedroom has a king-size bed, and opening the curtains brings a clear sea view. A shower room off the open-plan living space has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and washing machine, and the dining table seats 4.

Outside, a non-enclosed terrace with furniture, shared access with the ground-floor annex below, looks south over the sea and west across the town, a spot for breakfast or an evening drink under the parasol. TV and WiFi cover the living space, and a boiler lets guests set their own heating times and temperatures.

One car can park off-road. Torquay's hills mean Rosa isn't well suited to anyone with mobility issues, though the private parking means drivers won't need to manage the slopes on foot. No pets are allowed and the annex is no smoking throughout. A minimum stay of 4 nights applies, and the shop and pub are both 0.3 miles away, with the beach 0.4 miles.
