Apartment 1

Apartment 1 is a ground-floor studio apartment forming part of a small block of apartments in Torquay, close to the seafront. It welcomes dogs and comes with its own car park, making it a straightforward base for a couple wanting an easy coastal stay.

The studio-style living space holds a double bed alongside a dining area and a sitting area with TV and WiFi. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, enough for simple self-catering, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC completes the layout. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Guests can use the block's swimming pool, open from 23 May to 2 September between 10am and 7pm. A travel cot can be provided, though its own bedding isn't supplied. The shop is 0.2 miles away, a pub 0.3 miles, the beach 0.4 miles and a lake 0.9 miles, so the seafront and daily essentials are both within easy reach. The apartment is heated by electric central heating throughout.

Check-in at Apartment 1 runs on Saturdays only, and smoking isn't permitted inside. From here, Paignton's seafront and gardens, Brixham's harbour and Totnes's riverside shops and cafes are all within reach for a day out along this stretch of South Devon's coast, with the wider English Riviera close by for anyone wanting a change of scene.
