Rock Barn

This converted barn sits at the end of a private lane in farmland outside South Tawton, with countryside walks available directly from the front door. The property sleeps 10 across five first-floor bedrooms, reached via a gallery landing, with some rooms featuring low sloping ceilings and exposed oak beams.

The ground floor centres on a light lounge/diner with a stone fireplace, open fire and pool table, opening to a well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, two electric ovens, a dishwasher and a wine cooler. A large boot room with an external door leads off the kitchen, useful for wet coats and boots, and a separate WC sits within the utility area alongside the washing machine. A snug off the lounge, with a second staircase down to one of the bedrooms, has a TV with streaming apps and works well as a den for children.

Bathroom provision runs to four in total: two en-suite shower rooms, one en-suite with a freestanding bath set within the master bedroom, and a further bathroom with both a bath and separate walk-in shower. The separate WC in the utility area is additional to these. Outside, an enclosed garden combines a patio for seating with a sloping lawn and a brick barbecue, while a further lawn lies to the front. Across the driveway, an open-fronted games barn holds a table tennis table and storage for bikes and surfboards.
