River Avon Retreat

This riverside pod sits beside the River Avon on the edge of Avonwick, within a private enclosure next to the local pub. It suits two guests looking for a compact, self-contained base with the water close at hand and countryside surrounding the plot.

Inside, a single studio-style space combines the lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping areas. The lounge has a sofa and a smart TV with a view over the garden, while the kitchen is compact but usable, fitted with a two-ring gas hob, a combination microwave oven and a fridge with an ice compartment. The king-size bed sits alongside a shower room with WC, which serves as the only bathroom.

Outside, a decked patio overlooks the garden and river, with a private hot tub and a fire pit included; the first large box of wood for the hot tub is provided, with further wood available to buy from the owner. A dry-heat sauna is also on site, shared with an additional cost of £1 per 38-minute session. Off-road parking is available for one car directly outside the pod, and internet access is provided.

One dog is welcome on this booking, though additional charges may apply, and dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the stay. The nearest pub is within walking distance, while the nearest beach and shop are further afield. Guests can check in from 16:00 and should check out by 10:00.
