Pylemoor Cottage

Pylemoor Cottage is a detached period cottage in the hamlet of Washfield, around 3.9 miles from Tiverton, with far-reaching countryside views. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and a separate cloakroom.

The kitchen has an AGA, electric double oven, induction hob and microwave, with underfloor heating beneath it and oil-fired central heating through the rest of the cottage. A utility room holds the washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a table tennis table, and a cloakroom with basin and WC leads off it. Doors from the utility open onto a south-facing terrace.

The living and dining room has a circular dining table and a large Smart TV, with doors onto the patio, and a first-floor sitting room has a second seating area and a woodburning stove. Both bedrooms are super-king-size: one has a zip-link bed that can be split into twins on request, with an en-suite freestanding bath and walk-in shower; the other has an en-suite freestanding bath and a handheld shower.

Pylemoor Cottage takes two well-behaved dogs, and off-road parking is provided for 2 cars. The enclosed garden has a patio, lawn and furniture, though the grounds have uneven paving and different levels with drops over walls, so children should be supervised. The cottage also has varying internal floor levels and low windows to watch for. Smoking is not permitted, and the nearest shop and pub are 3.7 and 2.3 miles away.
