Priory House Cottage

Priory House Cottage is a single-storey annexe on the outskirts of Barnstaple, with a studio-style layout built for two. A step leads up into the property, which opens into a sitting area with sofas, a TV and a selection of books, then through to the kitchen/diner.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge and washing machine, and gas central heating covers the annexe. The double bed sits within the same open-plan space, and a shower room off it has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. WiFi is provided but can be temperamental given the rural setting, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside, a side garden with a lawned area gives room to sit out or walk a dog, and cars park on a shared driveway. The River Yeo is 0.1 miles away, with a pub 1.4 miles off and a shop 2.2 miles away.

Priory House Cottage takes one well-behaved dog. Smoking is not permitted, check-in runs from 4pm and check-out is by 10am, bookings need a minimum of 3 nights, and weekly breaks only start on Mondays or Fridays, with no Saturday or Sunday check-outs without checking with the housekeeper first.
