Owl Barn

Owl Barn is a semi-detached, all-ground-floor barn conversion on a farm on the edge of Dartmoor, near Tavistock. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, with far-reaching views across the valley toward Dartmoor from the sitting room.

One king-size bedroom converts to a twin on request, and the other has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC; a second wet room with a shower, basin and WC serves the rest of the barn. The sitting room has a dining area, TV with Freeview and DVD, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, and electric storage heaters warm the whole barn. Outside, the enclosed rear lawned garden has furniture and a barbecue, a play area has a swing and trampoline, and a rustic barn holds a pool table, football table and table tennis. Walking and cycling routes lead from the farm, including Drake's Trail and Brunel's Genofen Tunnel.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, with an additional pet considered at an extra charge; dogs must be kept on a lead because of livestock on site. A travel cot, highchair and a foldaway bed for a child up to 16 are available on request. Off-road parking covers 2 cars, and bike or canoe storage can be arranged with the owners. Smoking is not permitted. The shop is 2 miles away, the cafe 1 mile, and the pub 1.5 miles.
