Old Highwood Barns

Old Highwood Barns is a single-storey cottage in the Blackdown Hills near Dunkeswell, sleeping 5 across three bedrooms. All three bedrooms and both washrooms sit on the single level.

The bedrooms comprise a king-size, a second king-size that converts to twin beds (zip/link) on request, and a single, each with fresh bed linen provided. A shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC serves the whole cottage, and there is also a separate ground-floor cloakroom with its own basin and WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, opening onto a living/dining room with a TV and WiFi. Central heating covers the colder months, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A travel cot and highchair are available on request for younger guests.

Outside, an enclosed decking area holds outdoor furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub, a spot to unwind after walking in the surrounding countryside of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Off-road parking is provided on site. The shop and pub are both 2.3 miles away, and no pets are allowed at the property.

The market town of Honiton is a short drive away for shops and eateries, while the cathedral city of Exeter offers a wider choice of culture and history. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
