Blackdown Hills barn for 4 with a six-person hot tub

Hog End is a barn conversion in the Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to Dunkeswell, sleeping 4 across two en-suite bedrooms. The property sits next to a working sheep farm, and guests are asked to keep noise down after 10pm.

The king-size bedroom has a Juliet balcony over the fields and its own en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom is a zip-and-link twin that can be set up as a super king-size, also with an en-suite shower, basin and WC. A downstairs cloakroom adds a third WC, and the two en-suites give the cottage two bathrooms in total.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, along with a TV and WiFi, though the rural connection can be intermittent. Central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, and a travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests.

Outside, a private courtyard garden holds furniture, a barbecue available between April and October, and a six-person hot tub looking out over the surrounding fields. The garden is roped off at the rear rather than fully fenced. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and no pets or smoking are allowed.
