Mill View Cottage

Mill View Cottage sits in a quiet countryside spot near Sutcombe, close to the Devon/Cornwall border. The single-storey layout suits guests who prefer to avoid stairs, with an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner forming the heart of the accommodation. A corner sofa bed here can take an extra sleeper, though the property's booking capacity remains four across the two bedrooms.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine, and there's a Smart TV plus an electric log-effect fire in the lounge. Off the hall you'll find a king-size bedroom with its own TV and a twin room, with one bathroom fitted with a shower over the bath and a WC.

French doors from the lounge open onto a private, enclosed patio garden at the rear, furnished with outdoor seating and a barbecue. A separate on-site laundry room offers a tumble dryer and freezer for guest use, alongside a dedicated dog-washing facility with a warm shower and towels provided. Two Shetland ponies and a chicken enclosure, with eggs to collect, are also kept on site, and a highchair and travel cot can be requested in advance.

Up to two small-to-medium dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying. Parking is available on site for two cars, and shops, a pub and the nearest beach are some distance away, so a car is recommended. Check-in runs from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
