Mill Cottage

Mill Cottage is one of six cottages at Great Houndbeare Farm on the edge of Aylesbeare, set within 100 acres of farmland and woodland. The detached cottage sleeps 9 across four bedrooms and two shower rooms, and has its own private garden with a hot tub and barbecue.

Inside, a spacious lounge has an open fireplace and a large Smart TV, while the farmhouse-style kitchen has a big table for group mealtimes. A separate snug opens onto the enclosed rear garden. Upstairs, a double room and two twin bedrooms sit alongside a bunk room with a double bottom bunk and single top bunk, with two shower rooms serving the bedrooms between them.

Outside, the rear garden has a lawn bordered by mature trees, a patio for alfresco dining and the hot tub itself. Off-road parking is provided for 4 cars, with a further communal car park shared by all six cottages. An external games room is shared with the other five, and a highchair is available on request.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Heating comes from biomass and solar, with fuel, power and an initial supply of logs included in the rent. Smoking is not permitted, one-night bookings are not accepted, and the nearest shop is 2.1 miles away with a pub at 3.6 miles.
