Mallacleave House

Mallacleave House is a three-storey property in the rural outskirts of Bideford, reached through electric gates to a tranquil, elevated position overlooking the estuary. The house spreads over three floors: a second-floor king-size bedroom with an en-suite bath and handheld shower, two further king-size bedrooms with en-suite walk-in showers, plus a king-size and a twin bedroom on the first floor, a family bathroom and a ground-floor cloakroom.

The kitchen has a Smart TV and opens onto a living/dining room with a large dining table, and a separate snug has a second Smart TV and a wood burning stove. There's also a study and a utility room. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwaves, fridge/freezers, a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and there's a pool table and WiFi.

A wraparound garden has decking, gravel, lawn and patio areas, furniture, a hot tub and a barbecue, with steps down to the lawn. An external games room sits in the garage, and secure storage is available for bikes and surfboards. Two highchairs, two travel cots and stairgates are on hand for younger guests.

Private off-road parking is provided for 5 cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a third considered by prior arrangement with the owner. Smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are both 0.7 miles away and the estuary is 0.1 miles. Bookings run from Friday to Friday, and a gardener visits the grounds every Friday.
