Set in a secluded valley amongst woodlands near Oakford, this one-bedroom barn sleeps two and welcomes up to two dogs of small cocker spaniel size or smaller. The elevated position offers country walks from the doorstep, with shops five miles away in Bampton and a pub just 1.5 miles distant. Tiverton lies nine miles away with larger supermarkets and a canal for horse-drawn barge rides.

The ground floor comprises an open-plan lounge and dining area with a comfy sofa, wood burner and Smart TV for films. A small dining table and well-equipped kitchen include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. The downstairs shower room contains a WC and houses the washing machine. A narrow cottage-style staircase leads upstairs to the king-size bedroom.

Outside, a gated and fully enclosed patio with garden furniture sits directly outside the front door, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Stone steps lead down to a separate totally fenced lawn area where dogs can roam freely. The garden descends towards a stream but remains completely enclosed. Minimal light pollution makes stargazing particularly clear here. Private off-road parking accommodates one car.

Internet access and towels are included. The first basket of logs for the wood burner is provided. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. The staircase is narrow.
