This three-storey house sits in Paignton, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and pubs, and a short walk from Preston Sands beach. The ground floor is given over to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner, with a bay window seat, a Smart TV, and a dining table large enough for the whole party. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, including a dishwasher alongside the usual oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave.

Upstairs, the first floor holds the king-size bedroom with generous wardrobe storage and a quiet landing reading nook, plus the double bedroom and the family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. A further flight of stairs, spiral in shape, steep, and fitted with a rope handrail, leads up to the twin room on the second floor, a characterful space with exposed walls and Velux windows. The staircase arrangement is worth noting for guests with mobility concerns or young children.

Outside, a private enclosed paved courtyard makes the most of Devon evenings, with a bistro table for meals outdoors, a summer house offering extra seating, and an open fire pit. A separate outdoor cupboard houses the washing machine along with a clothes horse and ironing equipment, so laundry is handled away from the main living space. Wi-fi is available throughout the house.

The house sleeps six across its three bedrooms and welcomes up to three dogs, with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged on request, useful for families with young children. Parking is more restricted in peak season: a single permit is issued for bookings in June, July and August, while outside those months free roadside parking is usually available nearby, though this cannot be guaranteed. Check-in runs from 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
