It sleeps 6 across three bedrooms upstairs: a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, a further double with countryside views, and a twin with Velux windows, plus a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

The open-plan living space downstairs has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area built around a woodburning stove, with three leather sofas beneath a wooden beam. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, and a wooden table seats 6 for dinner. A cloakroom off the hallway has a washing machine, basin and WC. Oil central heating covers the cottage, with fuel, power and a stove starter pack included in the rent along with bed linen and towels.

Outside, an enclosed cobbled and paved courtyard has garden furniture for dining alfresco. Freddie, the property's resident donkey, is often on hand to greet guests, so children should be supervised outside. A highchair and travel cot are available on request, and the property is an Exmoor Dark Sky Accredited business, good for stargazing on clear nights.

Off-road parking is provided for 3 cars. The property runs on a private water supply. No pets are allowed and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are around 3.1 miles away, with a river 0.6 miles from the cottage. The cottage is available for holiday stays only, not for work-related or contractor accommodation.
