Lakeside Lodge 1

Set within a small complex across 23 acres of North Devon countryside, this single-storey lodge sleeps six and sits alongside private fishing lakes. Shebbear village is half a mile away, with a pub and a shop making it easy to stock up or wind down without a long drive. Parking on site accommodates two vehicles.

All three bedrooms are on one level: a double with an en-suite shower room and WC, a twin, and a bunk bedroom suitable for adults. A family bathroom with a bath, handheld shower and WC serves the remaining guests. An additional sofa bed is available but does not increase the six-person capacity.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area has oak floors with underfloor heating throughout, powered by an air source heat pump and solar panels. A wood burner with a first basket of logs supplied anchors the lounge, where large sofas face a Smart TV. French doors from the dining area look out over the lakes, and the kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

Outside, a patio with garden furniture provides a quiet spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Guests can also use a shared games room with a pool table and dartboard. No dogs are permitted at this property.
