Coham Barn

Coham Barn is a single-storey converted barn sleeping up to 10 guests across four bedrooms, set in the North Devon countryside near Black Torrington. Two king-size rooms sit to one side of the open-plan living area; one of these opens onto a decked terrace with views over the River Torridge and surrounding fields. On the other side are two triple rooms, each fitted with a double bed and a loft bed (ladder removable when not needed), making them well suited to families of three. All four bedrooms are reached via a small step from the main living area.

The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining space forms the heart of the barn. Cooking is handled by an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, air fryer and dishwasher, with a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility area. Three sofas face a Smart TV, and the dining table seats the whole party. Connectivity comes via Starlink high-speed satellite wi-fi. A travel cot and highchair are each available on request; children's books and games are also on hand for younger guests.

The indoor heated swimming pool is accessed down a short external stairway and is available exclusively to guests between 9am and 7pm daily, though it is unavailable on departure day. Outside, a lawned area with a decked balcony provides seating and space for al fresco dining, and a fire pit is ready for use on cooler evenings. Children's play equipment includes a trampoline, tree swing and swing ball. The property also has easy access to the river for swimming or paddleboarding, and private parking is available for three cars on the driveway.

Up to four dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The nearest pub is 1.5 miles away, with village shops and further pubs roughly 2 miles distant. The North Cornwall coast at Bude is around 16 miles, offering sandy beaches and a surf school. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
