Hilltop Cottage

Hilltop Cottage is an elevated, detached house in Paignton, a short walk from the beach, with sea views from the lounge. A non-enclosed front garden has furniture for sitting out, and patio doors from the lounge lead to a patio area with furniture. The walk up to the property is steep, and it would not suit guests with mobility issues.

The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms upstairs: a king-size room with a sea view and Smart TV, a double room, and a bunk room suitable for children or teenagers. There is a shower room with a walk-in shower and a separate cloakroom. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, and a utility area has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

A gas fire in the lounge is for display only and is not in use. Gas heating, WiFi, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A travel cot, for which guests bring their own cot linen, and a highchair are provided for younger guests.

Designated parking is available for two cars: one space on a steep, paved driveway and a second at the top of the drive, with the driveway too narrow for large vans; on-street parking is also available nearby. Guests unsure about managing the driveway are asked to contact the owner before arrival. Two well-behaved dogs are very welcome, with dog bowls and toys provided, and smoking is not permitted. The shop is around 0.7 miles away, the pub 0.8 miles, and the beach around a mile.
