Ellishayes Farm

Ellishayes Farm occupies a private wing of a Grade II listed 16th-century farmhouse in Combe Raleigh, near Honiton. It sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Two king-size bedrooms each have their own en-suite, one with a shower room and one with a bath and a handheld shower. A twin room and a single room, the single with an optional pull-out truckle bed, share a family bathroom with a freestanding bath, a separate shower cubicle, basin, WC and towel rail.

The lounge is built around an inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove, and a separate snug has its own wood-burner. The dining room has panelled walls and ceiling beams, and the kitchen and breakfast room has an AGA alongside a range cooker with an electric oven and gas hob, an American-style fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave. A separate utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a Smart TV and WiFi are provided, with logs supplied for the wood-burning stoves.

The enclosed front garden has lawns and furniture, with views across the surrounding countryside. Allocated parking is provided for two cars. A cot and highchair are available, and up to two well-behaved dogs can stay, kept under close control on nearby footpaths and bridleways where livestock may be present. A shop and pub are 2.6 miles away, and the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close by for walking.
