Dashel Cottage at Dockwell Farm

Dashel Cottage at Dockwell Farm is a stone-built farm cottage on a working 47-acre farm, about 1.8 miles from Widecombe-in-the-Moor within Dartmoor National Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy the surrounding grounds, where horses, cows and poultry can often be seen, and the nearby Two Moors Way leads to the West Webburn River for walking and cycling. The cottage sleeps four across its two bedrooms.

Arranged over three floors, the ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an oak floor and an electric fire, plus French doors opening onto the enclosed rear garden. A double bedroom and family bathroom sit on the first floor, with a twin bedroom tucked under the sloping ceilings and exposed beams of the second floor.

Electric central heating covers the cottage, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, mini fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. Laundry is shared: guests use washing machines and a tumble dryer along with a slimline dishwasher elsewhere on the farm. FreeSat TV, WiFi and a shared table tennis area are also available, and a travel cot, highchair and stairgates can be provided on request.

Off-road parking is provided for one car, and the enclosed rear garden has patio furniture for sitting out. Two well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement, and smoking is not permitted. The farm's spring water supplies the cottage, and the shop and pub are around 1.8 miles away in Widecombe-in-the-Moor.
