Brimble Cottage at Dockwell Farm

Brimble Cottage at Dockwell Farm is a stone-built terraced cottage on a working farm, about 1.8 miles from Widecombe-in-the-Moor in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. Steps lead up to the cottage, so it suits guests comfortable with a short climb at the front door. Inside, an open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with wooden roof beams overhead and double doors opening onto the enclosed rear courtyard.

The cottage sleeps seven across three bedrooms: a king-size, a twin, and a family room with one double and one single bed, all served by a single shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Central heating covers the cottage, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A Smart TV and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and stables can be arranged with the owners in advance for guests bringing horses. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and the enclosed rear courtyard has furniture for outdoor meals.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome at Brimble Cottage, and smoking is not permitted. The shop and pub are around 1.8 miles away in Widecombe-in-the-Moor, and the working farm setting adds to the rural, walking-focused feel of a stay here.
