Cross Syke Barn

Cross Syke Barn is a barn conversion in a remote setting near Loxhore, next door to the owner's home and sleeping 6 across three bedrooms. A bunk room for children sits just inside the entrance, and rustic tiled flooring leads through to a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a woodburning stove.

Upstairs, a king-size double and a twin room share a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, and there's a second WC and basin on the ground floor. The bedrooms have wooden furnishings and velux windows.

The kitchen has a gas range cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer, and there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs. A travel cot and highchair are available on request. Outside, an enclosed rear patio, decking and gravelled area have furniture and a gas BBQ for outdoor meals.

The barn has shared use of surrounding land with a lake and stream, so children need supervising outside. The property runs on a private water supply, and a refundable bond applies. No pets are accepted, smoking is not permitted, and stag, hen or single-sex group bookings are not accepted. Off-road parking is provided for two cars, with the shop and pub around 5 miles away.
